Henan University SATH Hospital of Stomatology was established in 1994. Located at 177 Dongming Street in Zhengzhou. Combining medical care, education, scientific research and museum exhibition in the long run of providing the good. Varied departments are established, such as Implant Center, Orthodontic Center, Microscopic Treatment Center, Anesthetic Treatment Center, Dental Caring Center, Pediatric Department, General Dentistry Department, Endodontic Department, Periodontic Department, Periodontal Hygiene Department, Prosthodontic Department, Alveolus Surgery Department, Oral Mucosa Department, Prevention Department, Medical Image Center and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) plus more upcoming divisions. Currently there are 300 faculties, including 72 professional technicians who have intermediate and senior titles, 21 mastered graduates who majored in Stomatology and 3 postgraduate supervisors. Our faculties have domestically published 64 scientific papers from which a total of 2 are engraved in Science Citation Index (SCI), while concurrently participated in the publication for educational monographs. Most importantly, the hospital has published 166 issues of SATH Prospect since 2005. Starting from the very first echo of the establishment, Henan University SATH Hospital of Stomatology has been shaking hands with a great number of public and private institutions worldwide.

In 2003, Implant Center was established on the horizon. In 2004, CSSD was cemented in the heart of the facility and passed the standard acceptance. In 2005, SATH Museum of Art of Teeth opened to public. In 2006, dental microscope was introduced and we took the lead in initiating the microscopic root canal treatment in the Henan. In 2008, we proudly equipped our first CT in Medical Image Center. In 2013, while documenting the approval upon Henan Health Department, Henan Oral Implantation Center was coined in Henan University SATH Hospital of Stomatology and became the training base for oral implantation specialists in Henan. In 2014, All-on-4®, the one-day full mouth restoration treatment was exclusively carried out to pinpoint our intrinsic development. In April 2017, the hospital collaborated with Henan University and reached agreement on co-constructing Henan University School of Stomatology.

In December 2017, 13 SATH Dental Clinics initiated grand opening which have equipped with American dental chairs and furnitures in high-end communities of Zhengzhou. In January 2018, 10 American nitrous oxide and oxygen sedation equipments and 1 digital intraoral scanner were introduced in order to facilitate Anesthetic Treatment Center and Orthodontic Center. In March 2018, the grand ground-breaking ceremony took place in Zhengzhou East District at the intersection between Boxue Street and Yuxiang Road, during which marked the construction initiation for Henan University Hospital of Stomatology and Henan University SATH Hospital of Stomatology. In October 2018, the Education Center was established in possession of 1,800 square meters in space, where comprising 41 simulation mannequins, 10,000 books and critical thinking training room.

In 2011, the hospital was awarded the name of “Excellent Private Hospital in Henan”. In 2012, the hospital was consecutively rated as “Advanced Institute of Management Innovation Hospital in Henan” by the Henan Health Department. In 2013, the hospital was awarded the title of “Advanced Institute of Comprehensive Intervention Project of Pediatric Oral Diseases in Henan”. In 2015, the registered trademark SATH was recognized as one of the famous brand by Henan Administration for Industry and Commerce. In 2016 and 2017, the hospital was nominated for “Ranking of Chinese Specialized Hospital Reputation”, which is issued by Fudan University Hospital Management Research Institute. In 2018, the hospital was coined “Featured Hospital Brand That Influencing Henan”.

Currently among our faculties, one is one of the board council for the Chinese Stomatology Association (CSA). One designate chairman of the private branch of CSA. Five are among the CSA Dental Implant Specialist Committee, General Dentistry Specialist Committee, Endodontic Specialist Committee, Dental Assisting and Nursing Committee and other branched areas. One is the vice president of Henan Stomatology Association. One is the executive and five are board council of Henan Stomatology Association. Among different committees of implant, private practitioner, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatrics, periodontics, digitalized analyzing, aesthetics, maxillofacial surgery, general dentistry, nursing, nosocomial infection and other Professional committees, we possess 1 chairman, 2 vice chairman, 3 standing board and 21 committee members. One vice chairman of Chinese Physicians Association Oral Physician Branch of Private Stomatology Working Committee. One member of the standing committee China Medical Education Association Oral Medicine Committee. One executive board of Chinese Orthopedic and Cosmetic Association Oral Plastic Branch of the Academic Committee on Cosmetic Repair.

In 2015, Dr. Guike Zou was awarded the 3rd place in implanting case competition of the Private Branch of CSA. In 2016, Weiya Cui won the 3rd place in dental assisting and nursing exhibition of Henan Stomatology Association. In 2017, Dr. Haiying Teng won the 2nd place in the endodontic treatment case exhibition of the Private Branch of CSA, while Dr. Danxia Li won the outstanding award. Dr. Yuxia Ma won excellent case Award for Adelomorphic Orthodontics. In 2018, Dr. Liyan Sun won the championship in the general dentistry case exhibition of Private Branch of CSA. In 2018, Dean Baojie He was elected Fellow of the International College of Dentistry (ICD), and Designate Chairman of the Private Branch of CSA. Also, Dr. He has been titled “Excellent Dean That Influencing Henan Hospitals”.

In 2005, SATH Museum of Art of Teeth opened to the community. The museum combines art and dental culture that substantially and organically immerses dental care and the art of teeth. While being exclusive in the area of teeth exhibition, the museum has evolving to be one of the charisma for the hospital. SATH Museum of Art of Teeth has been receiving hundreds of thousands domestic and foreign visitors.

Since the establishment of the hospital, donation never ceased. Medical equipments, directionally medical aids, scholarship for hope, public oral inspection and pediatric sealant projects which sums and equals to a total of 5 million in currency, were provided and donated to the community. In 2017, Dean Baojie He has funded He Miao Yu Lu charity for greater good.
