Taking education and teaching as its prime duty, the Medical Development Office is a functional department under the Henan Medical School. It explores new ideas and methods for medical education in order to promote medical education reform, integrates and optimizes school resources, and strengthens supervision and service to the construction of its affiliated hospitals, establishes and improves the management system mechanism of affiliated hospitals to further improve the quality of medical personnel.

1. To handle the identification and the approval of affiliated hospitals.

2. To tighten up the coordinated management of teaching, research and discipline construction in affiliated hospitals.

3. To coordinate and promote the close cooperation between school and hospitals in teaching, scientific research, discipline construction, etc., integrate high-quality resources to achieve the integrity, continuity and elite of medical education.

4. To coordinate and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with affiliated hospitals, gradually realize the sharing of resources such as talents, technology and scientific research platforms, and enhance the comprehensive strength and core competitiveness of affiliated hospitals.

5. To assess and evaluate the construction of the teaching base and the comprehensive strength of affiliated hospitals, and implement dynamic managements.

6. To carry out other tasks assigned by the superior departments.
