Tumor Immunity

Lihui Chai, Ph.D., Professor.

He graduated from Henan Medical University (now Medical School of Zhengzhou University) with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine in 2000, and received a Ph.D. in immunology from the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Zhengzhou University in 2013. He served as a visiting scholar at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, USA (November 2011 to November 2012) and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA (December 2015 to March 2016).

He has served as an assistant lecturer, lecturer, and associate professor in the Immunology Department, School of Medicine, Henan University. He is currently the Vice dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Henan University, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Henan Immunological Society.

His main research areas focus on innate immunity and tumor immunity. He has led and participated in six national natural science foundation projects, and published over 30 academic papers in journals such as the Journal of Immunology and Frontiers in Immunology. He has received the Second Prize for Medical Science and Technology Progress in Henan Province, the First Prize for Teaching Achievements in Higher Education in Henan Province (twice), and the Second Prize for Teaching Achievements in Higher Education in Henan Province. He has also been granted three authorized national invention patents.
