Dong Xiaotao, researcher, master's supervisor, Henan University Hundred Talents Program A position, serves as the director of the Receptor Gene Regulation and Drug Development Laboratory of Henan University and the deputy director of the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics. He is mainly engaged in the research of biomarkers of major diseases and epigenetic regulatory mechanisms of cell fate determination. He graduated with a doctorate from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in January 2021 and conducted postdoctoral research at the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He joined the School of Basic Medicine of Henan University in July 2023. The relevant research results were published in Nucleic Acids Research (2022) as the first author and were recommended by the editorial department as a "Breakthrough Article" (only about 2% of articles are selected each year). He has published papers as a co-first author in journals such as Nucleic Acids Research (2020), The EMBO Journal (2024), and Journal of Proteome Research (2024). In addition, Dr. Dong Xiaotao has published papers as a co-author in the journals Cell Reports (2022), Cell Stem Cell (2017), Nature Communications (2019, 2023) and Science Advances (2020). As the project leader, he has been approved for the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation General Project, the 71st batch of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation First-Class Funding, Henan Provincial Science and Technology Project, Guangzhou Basic and Applied Basic Research Project and other scientific research projects. He has participated in scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation Key Joint Fund as a major participant. He has won awards such as the Outstanding Youth Paper Award at the China Translational Medicine Conference.
